Breaking News: Democrat Party leader Abhisit Vejjajiva as 27th Prime Minister of Thailand

Khun Abhisit Vejjajiva is being chosen 27th Prime Minister of Thailand. He secured 235 votes to 197 against government party's nominee. He is the most famous person after short term PM Somchai stepped down from the various pressure of PAD.


He promised NLD LA, Burmese opposition in exile that he has to work with ASEAN and push ASEAN human rights charter to apply all ASEAN member countries on Saturday. Burmese democratic movement has suffered under Thai government's constructive engagement policy and favored generals in power since 1988. Burmese democratic movement might gain more proactive policy from Democrat Party in the future, report said.
