NLD LA Foreign Affairs Committee met with Thai Democrat Party Chairman Abhisit Vejjajiva

Democrat Party Chairman Abhisit Vejjajiva attended the Liberal International Conference at the Democratic Party Headquarters even though he had full of pre-engagements today. Democrat Party Chairman Abhisit Vejjajiva is hopeful 27th Prime Minister of Thailand on Monday. National League for Democracy (Liberated Area) has built up party to party relations with other liberal parties and government in and outside of the region.

After the Conference, Nyo Ohn Myint, chairperson of the Foreign Affairs Committee and Moe Zaw Oo, secretary of Foreign Affairs Committee met with Democratic Party Chairman and discussed the current Burma's political situation, human rights abuses and urged the hopeful Prime Minister of Thailand to facilitate with ASEAN and regional countries.

Khun Abhisit Vejjajiva promised that if his party was in the government, there would be different policy and as the chair of ASEAN, Thai government would do more proactive action towards Burma's democratization process, report said.
