Burmese activist Ma Khin Ohmar and Cambodian colleague were excused to out of the list from ASEAN civil society meeting with ASEAN leaders, Burma Partnership (PB) said. Ma Khin Ohmar was in the list to meet with the leaders from the ASEAN but later she was out of the list and her colleague from Cambodia. She is part of the Asian People Forum representing Burma and which is made up by civil society organizations from Asia and it supporters.

The Nation quoted that "The Burmese and Cambodian citizens who worked for non-governmental organizations were not allowed in the meeting since they were not recognized by the authorities." "However, the people-center Asean did not make a good start today since Burma and Cambodia's premiers refused to meet with two representatives of civil society." Newspaper said.
Coalition ASEAN civil society groups or APF protested the final cancellation, BP said. BP is a leading civil society group which made up by leading political activists from 88 generation and former ABSDF leaders. BP has coordinated Burma political and social and human rights issues with other regional civil society organizations.
PB text message said rest of the APF representatives would use Daw Aung San Suu Kyi's famous quote "Use Your Liberty to our (Burmese) Freedom" to the ASEAN leaders.
