Burmese journalist who works for BBC earned a degree in journalism. U Win Mint, a BBC Burmese reporter, earned a degree from Thai Language University.
He joined the 8888 movement at Thai-Burma border and became BBC stringer for many years. However, his strong journalism skills, and better presentation, and fluent in Thai language allowed him to be a BBC Burmese broadcaster from Bangkok.

He is also an author of Speaking Thai Language books that few became bestsellers within Burmese community in Thailand and abroad.
