Regardless of her six month extension of under confinement was over, there was no sign of releasing her. She was supposed to be freed on November 27 but wasn't, her NLD member stressed. Regime only allowed her physician to check her health situation few days ago.
Unconfirmed sources said that she was eager to know any development of her appeal at the high court that her personal lawyer had submitted during the meeting with her physician.
Her refusal of receiving food redelivery and meeting with UN Special Envoy Mr. Ibrahim Gambari in August 2008 also shook the SPDC's current roadmap to democracy.
Before she challenged UN goodwill mission, SPDC tried to get support from UN goodwill about its roadmap and focus election in 2010. However UN and international community reaffirmed their stance of inclusiveness of Daw Aung San Suu Kyi and other political actors in the political process.
However, SPDC hit back with long jail stances to the Buddhist clergies and student leaders, bloggers and political activists last month. Punishment for activists and their families, regime transferred jailed activists and leaders to the inaccessible area prisons.
"Regime scared her the most, regardless of general Kyaw Sann spoke to diplomats and foreign delegation that Daw Aung San Suu Kyi is irrelevant to the political mainstream. They would dare not to free her unless she agrees to have a one way ticket to another planet" said a Burma observer who lives in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
