Recent regime's scary sentences against the student leaders, monks, Ko Zarganar and political activists did not slow down the anti-government political activities, report said. Regime may have felt that their hush punishment could stop the political activists' movement and confrontation. The reality is different than what regime expected.

Burmese joke jailmail.com instead of gmail.com at teashops and public places. Students and political concerned people discussed the current jail terms for the leaders. Most of the people admire the heroes' bravery and without hesitation to face judicial crackdown. A political activist base in Rangoon said.

People keep going and doing internet as normal; they chat, send news, spreading rumors and other anti-government sentiments to the blogs, exile media and other media outlets. No one decided to back down a bit surprisingly, noted a internet café customer.

Many Burmese feel that would be another uprising because of economic hardship. Indeed, Burmese generals failed to recognize the Burmese economy is being suffered by the global economic crisis but the generals still showing business as usual. Unconfirmed news of garment factories would be shutdown in next month. If that happened, tens of thousands would be losing their jobs. Businessman in Rangoon said most of the garment exports must stop next few months. Other exports are also uncertain in terms of foreign buyers slowed to buy from Burma.

"Rest of the Burmese will join the mass movement when rice bow becomes empty at home" Burmese retied government official predicts. "People watched foreign TV and witnessed that rest of the world governments promised how to help their own people unlike Burma. We have only two choices; will die when I face this brutal regime or will die slowly when I become starving." Retire said.
