News Update: SPDC’s another delay tactics

BDD

Regime has reportedly postponed the resuming the dialogue process between Daw Aung San Suu Kyi and SPDC. Military Council was pending the liaison minister U Aung Kyi’s request of reconvening the dialogue process with the Lady, said sources close the regime.

Base on the SPDC supreme leader’s health reason, Naypyidaw has instructed the ministries not to bring any cases that supreme leaders has to decide since last week. Business dealings are also pending to send the Naypyidaw. Military procurement issues also part of the pending process but sources close to Naypyidaw said he is not seriously ill.

Regime has been working preparation for the UN chief diplomat’s visit in December 2008, and just to show him that they are working on the issue and some progress. Without improving political compromise with Daw Aung San Suu Kyi and NLD, SPDC might face the pressure from UN during his visit. This is also part of the delay tactics to reduce the progress with her now and stick with 2010 election process, said close regime source.
