Ludu Daw A-Mar passed away with her illness in Mandalay this morning. She had been fighting freedom of press, and freedom of speech from various governments from British colonial ruler to current brutal regime SPDC.
Her late husband Ludu U Hla and her never gave up for independent journalism in Burma, and she was considered as a mother of Burmese freedom lovers.
September Saffron Revolution was seeded after 88 generation student leaders; Ko Min Ko Naing and colleagues, NLD seniors, former NLD leaders met, discussed and strategize at her birthday ceremony in Mandalay. Her prediction also encouraged younger generations to face the brutal regime.
Her critics to SPDC were strong, effective, and her viewed to the regime was clear; no more dictatorship. She was paid respected by Daw Aung San Suu Kyi when Daw Suu was in Mandalay.
BDD convey its' deeply condolence to her survivals, and she will never die from our hearts.
